TSC Vacancies for Teachers Deployed as Principals, Deputy Principals, Head Teachers & Deputy Head Teachers in ASAL and Hard-to-Staff Counties/Sub Counties
The Teachers Service Commission is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 237 of the Constitution. One of its mandates is to appoint and deploy institutional administrators.
Pursuant to this mandate, the Commission invites applications from teachers deployed as Principals, Deputy Principals, Head Teachers & Deputy Head Teachers for the posts shown below in the following ASAL and Hard-To-Staff Counties/Sub Counties,
(Baringo (Baringo North, Tiaty East, Tiaty West and Marigat Sub-Counties), Garissa. Homa Bay (Suba and Mbita Sub-Counties), Isiolo, Kajiado (Mashuuru, Loitoktok and Kajiado West Sub-Counties), Kilifi (Magarini and Ganze Sub-Counties), Kitui (Mumoni, Mutitu North and Tseikuru), Kwale, Lamu, Mandera, Marsabit, Narok (Narok South, East, West and North Sub-Counties), Samburu, Taita Taveta, Tana River, Turkana, Wajir and West Pokot).

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –
- be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at T-
Scale 12 (D2);
- have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
- meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
